Papers relating to industrial arts education in the late-nineteenth and twentieth centuries, Epsilon Pi Tau, the American Industrial Arts Association, and William E. Warner's role in these areas as well as his personal life. The collection includes articles, artifacts, audiovisuals, certificates, correspondence, forms, instructional materials, lists, miscellaneous materials, outlines, photographs, programs, pamphlets, brochures, catalogs, monographs, periodicals, reports, a case study, a poster, schedules, and speeches. Most of these materials are from the years 1920-1970. Some of the highlights include military medals, higher education diplomas, biographical information about Warner, as well as photographs, instructional materials and correspondence about the development of industrial arts education in the early twentieth century.

William Everett Warner was born on August 22, 1897 in Roanoke, Illinois. After serving in World War I, he earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin in 1923 and a Master of Science from the same University in 1924.
